Guide on activating the Slack integration for your community

Activate Slack integration to see engagement in real time!

With the integration, you can get the latest updates directly from your community to your own Slack channel. With the integration, you can see in real-time how connections and engagement happen in your network.

  • Get notified when companies in your community receive follow requests

Community admins can set up the integration in their community settings:

  1. First, create a new Slack channel you want the integration to post updates to

  2. Navigate to community settings and integrations

  3. Click the "Integrate with Slack" button

  4. Sign into your workplace in Slack and sign into Slack on the web browser

  5. Choose the channel you have created for this purpose or another channel

  6. Click "Allow"

  7. Choose what type of updates you wish to get to the Slack channel

  8. Click "Save and continue"

Top tip: Share this Slack channel with your network to boost activity, we know that when members of your community see the activity of others they are motivated to take part in it.

If you later wish to edit your notification settings or remove the integration, it can be done on the same page in settings.
