Public updates open up a new possibility for you as a founder to build your network and attract engaged followers who later on can be converted into investors. When you choose the audience "Anyone on CrowdWorks" you are creating a public update which will be available on your company profile for everyone visiting it.

Note: All your previous updates have been made private. If you wish to make them available to everyone, you can edit them.

How to make old updates public

  1. Click the 3 dots on the top right corner of the update

  2. Click edit on the pop-up menu

  3. Click the audience selector and choose the preferred audience

  4. Click save to save your changes

How to post a public update:

  1. Go to your updates tab

  2. Click on the update box

  3. Make sure the audience is "Anyone on CrowdWorks (this is the default)

  4. Create your post

  5. Click publish!

The public update will be shown in your company feed and it is available also to your shareholders. Your shareholders and people following your company will be notified about a new public update.

Tip: To see how the public update looks like to visitors, use the "View Profile as" tool in the top right corner and choose the visitor option.

You can also see who can read your updates by hovering your mouse above the eye icon.
