Mentions allow you to tag and notify specific users or companies in your network when posting company, community, or room discussion updates or comments. Tagged users and company founders receive both in-app notifications and email alerts.

1. User mentioning in company and community updates and comments
Available for both company and community updates and comments
Suggested mentions include members of the company or community.
Type the "@" symbol to trigger mention suggestions or click the @ sign on the bottom toolbar of the update or comment text box.
Audience-specific mentions in rooms:
For room updates, you can tag any room member, whether an admin or a regular member.

2. Company mentions in company and community updates and comments
Available for community updates
Suggested mentions include company members of the community.
Type the "@" symbol to trigger mention suggestions or click the @ sign on the bottom toolbar of the update or comment text box.
Note: If you post an update from the company page, the company mentions will only appear if the audience selection contains at least one community.
How to use mentions in updates in 3 simple steps:
1. Start a New Update
Begin creating an update as usual.
2. Tag Users or companies with "@"
Type the "@" symbol to bring up a list of potential mentions or click the @ sign on the bottom toolbar of the update box.
Choose the desired user or company from the list. In company/community updates, only users from the selected audience(s) will appear.
You can mention multiple members or companies in the same update.
3. Post your update
Complete your update and post it.
The tagged members and founders will receive in-app notifications and email alerts, ensuring they are promptly informed.
