If you have the room extension activated for your community, you can create collaboration rooms for your companies and assign mentors, advisors and investors to them. By creating a room you can assign your network to companies and give them access to the company profile and a private room with one click.
The rooms are only available to the room members and are located at the company profile.
These rooms can be flexibly used for multiple different purposes, such as:
mentoring
collaboration
investments
Tip: You can create as many rooms as desired
How to create a room:
Navigate to the company card in the community
Click the "Create Room" button on the right-hand side of the company card
Give the room a name
Add admins and members to the room
Click "Create room" to create the room
Members are added to the room and the company founders are notified by email that you have created a room for them.
Here is what the room looks like on the company profile:
Share documents with the room members
Admins of the room can share private documents with the room members by uploading them there.
These documents are ONLY visible to the members of that specific room
Only admins of that room can upload documents
Everyone in that room can view and download the documents
Click upload documents to add new ones
Drag files or browse
Click done after you are happy with the selection
You can delete documents if you need by clicking the pen icon and then proceeding to click the trash can to delete the document.
Share updates with the room members
Every member can share updates in the room to collaborate and chat.
Add images, videos and embedded content
Start conversations in the comments
Admins of the company are automatically added to the room
You need to add yourself as a member to the room if you want access
Only the members of the room have access to it and can see it
