Private companies can get follower requests from the communities your company is a member of. These investors are interested in your company and want to follow your journey closer!

You can choose whether you accept them as a follower of your company or whether you reject them. Accepting them means they get limited access to your company profile and can see documents and updates with the audience "Followers".

How to accept a follower request:

  1. Click on the "see all" link on the company dashboard or navigate to settings > network > follower requests

  2. See who has sent you a request and review if you are accepting it

  3. Click "Confirm" to accept and trash-symbol to reject

Note: You can always remove the follower from your company profile

What is a follower?

  • Follower requests are similar to users you would invite yourself who have not yet invested in your company, but you want to keep them updated on your journey

  • Followers are actively asking to follow your company for future possible investment opportunities

  • Followers see updates (which you have shared with the audience "followers"), Documents (which have visibility to "followers") and goals

  • Followers DO NOT see KPIs

How can I get followers?

  • Post actively to the investment community you are part of to attract the interest of members

  • Invite your connections to follow your company profile even if they are not yet shareholders

Tip: With a public profile you will be able to attract more followers and grow your network more rapidly. Read here how to set your company public.
