There are 2 ways to invite a company:

You can send 2 types of invitations. Either let your members choose the role they want to join or predetermine that before sending the invitation. You can use the predetermined company invitation if you know you are only inviting founders of startups and scale-ups.

Note: Founders you invite will be given access to the community, but you must approve them before they become visible.

When visible the admins of the startups can see the other members you have invited to your community and the profiles of fellow companies. If the company has 3 admins, all of them will be granted access to the community.

Personal email invitation:

  1. Navigate to manage > Invitations

  2. Choose the "Start-up or Scale-up" invitation from the drop-down menu or keep the "Let members choose" option activated

  3. Add the email address(es) of the company founder(s) to the text box. You can do this one by one or by pasting in a list of emails separated by comma or line break)

  4. Click Invite

Tip: Only send an email invitation to 1 person at the company to prevent duplicate company profiles. The company admin can then extend an invitation to other members of their team from the company profile.

With personal email invitations, you can see the list of invited companies on the invitations page. There you can also withdraw the invitation or copy the invitation link by clicking the three dots on the right-hand side of the row.

Share a registration link:

  1. Navigate to manage > Invitations

  2. Choose the "Start-up or Scale-up" invitation from the drop-down menu or keep the "Let members choose" option activated

  3. Copy invitation link

  4. Share that link with the company founders

Note: If you share the link publicly online, remember that anyone can use it to register a company in your community. Be sure to approve only the companies that are real.
