There are 2 ways to invite an organisation/corporation:
You can send 2 types of invitations. You can let your members choose the role they want to join or predetermine that before sending the invitation. You can use the predetermined organisation invitation if you know you are only inviting admins of organisations/corporations.
Note: Organisations you invite will be given access to the community, but you must approve them before they become visible.
When visible, admins of the organisation can see the other members you have invited to your community and the profiles of companies.
Personal email invitation:
Navigate to manage > Invitations
Choose the "Corporate or Organisation" invitation from the drop-down menu or keep the "Let members choose" option activated
Add the email address(es) of the contact person(s) to the text box (you can do this one by one or by pasting in a list of emails separated by comma or line break)
Click Invite
Invited persons will get an email invitation which they can use to register
Tip: Only send an email invitation to 1 contact person per organisation to prevent duplicate organisation profiles. The organisation admin can then extend an invitation to other members of their team from the organisation profile.
With personal email invitations, you can see the list of invited members on the invitations page. There you can also withdraw the invitation or copy the invitation link.
Share a registration link:
Navigate to manage > Invitations
Choose the "Corporate or Organisation" invitation from the drop-down menu or keep the "Let members choose" option activated
Copy invitation link
Share that link with the contact persons from organisations
Note: If you share the link publicly online, remember that anyone can use it to register a profile in your community. Be sure to approve only the members that are real.
