How to add labels to your company connections

Guide on creating a custom label in company settings that you can add to a connection

To add labels to your users, you must create one first. You can create new labels from the "Manage labels" pop-up, which you can access from the top of the table or behind the three dots next to your users.

Labels are an excellent way to categorise your connections. By adding relevant information and groups to your network, you can use it as a mini CRM system.


How to create a new label:

  1. Navigate to "Connections" in the settings.

  2. Click the Manage labels button or the three dots on the right side of the screen and select "Manage labels."

3. Click "Add another label."

4. Give your label a name and click the tick

5. Edit label colour and name in the listing

6. Add that label to the users you want

You can filter your users by their labels.

Note: Labels are only visible to admins and available in people management.

How to add a label to a connection

  1. Navigate to "Connections" in the settings.

  2. Choose the people you wish to label and click "manage labels" at the top of the screen, or click the three dots on the person you wish to label and select "Manage labels."

  3. Choose the relevant labels for your connection

  4. Click "Update" to save your choice
