If you receive a message from a user outside your network, it will first only appear in your "Requests" folder, and you must accept or decline it. You will receive an email notification that a new person wishes to connect with you in CrowdWorks.

After you have accepted the message, you can reply to it, and future messages from that person will land straight into your inbox.

If you don't want to get messages from that user, you can easily decline the message. In the message request, you can see information about the person who is sending you a message and how you are connected in CrowdWorks.

To accept or decline a message request:

  1. Click the Chat bubbles in the top right corner.

  2. Click Requests.

  3. Click the message.

  4. Select Accept or Decline.

If you get spammed or if you suspect that the person sending you a message is not who they say they are, please use the report function to report the user for. CrowdWorks team will then take action on it.

Click the settings button on top of the chat to report users.
